Hi, I am Matt and I grew up fishing the KW area as soon as I could walk. I have fished most rivers, streams, lakes, and ponds within 100 km radius of the store. When I was 10, I started downrigging on the Great Lakes with my grandfather for salmon, trout and walleye. Starting that early really drove the passion for downrigging home. I now own my own charter business on Lake Ontario based in Stoney Creek called Reel Knockoffs Guide Service. When I am not on my charter boat trolling, I am usually float fishing any Great Lake tributary for Steelhead. As much as I enjoy all types of fishing, my favorites are trolling and float fishing. I also enjoy fishing while backcountry camping, as well as jigging the rivers for walleye. I am happy to help introduce the sport to new anglers or share my passion with seasoned anglers alike!
