From as soon as the ice leaves and into late spring, the Detroit and St. Clair River are an especially amazing walleye fishery.
We recommend using a 3/8oz to 1oz jighead tipped with a fork tail minnow or plastic worm as bait.
Vertically jig your lure with a medium to medium-heavy spinning rod and a 2500-3000 size spinning reel spooled with 10-15lb braided line and a fluorocarbon leader.
